During vacation I got a chance to go to Rio de Janeiro, such a beautiful city here in Brasil. I went to an event for art students around the country, and got to be one of the photographers. Here are some photos of some of the performances and workshops, later I'll make a post about the city itself.

itapema for carnaval

so I've decided I'm going to start updating this more frequently...
for carnaval me and some friends got away from Salvador and went to a quiet village nearby. most of the activities there were traditional, like the bulls, and some other things I don't know how to explain. the best part was when the boys dressed up as girls, some of them enjoyed their new characteristics a little too much hah..

My cousin Mariana (was) pregnant with her second baby. She was born this Monday. Good thing I got some shots in before she gave birth!

So two weeks ago I moved from Pompano Beach, Florida, USA to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. The changes are... insane. Everything is completely different and it's going to take a lot of getting used to. But I'm taking it day by day, enjoying the family I grew up without and trying it to make it a good experience.

On the plus side, I got some cool pictures on the plane. All of them are SOOC considering my computer with photoshop is not here yet.
